The current Non-Exec team of IT industry legends has combined experience totalling nearly a century.
Ian Jackson
Ian Jackson has 35 years experience in the IT industry, primarily in the Finance Sector. He gained his basic training with IBM Australia before working in the UK for the British Gas Council and Logica. He became Managing Director of Logica Australia, and then returned to London in 1989, becoming Managing Director of Logica Finance. He joined Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in 1992 to head up their Global Finance Sector and has most recently joined Rule Financial as the Non-Executive Director responsible for Strategy.
Richard Little
Richard Little graduated from Cambridge with a degree combining English Literature with Middle Eastern languages, including Arabic. He began his career as a salesman with Burroughs, and in 1982 founded Braid Systems, a software house specialising in financial messaging. He was CEO of Braid until its sale to Mercator in 1999, having established the business across Asia and the USA. In 1999 he became Chairman of the Dovetail Group, a US-based software house developing payment and settlement systems for large financial institutions, and in 2000 became a non-executive director of Rule Financial.
Ges Whitmore
Ges Whitmore has run successful businesses in the Financial Services sector for the last 22 years. A career that saw him grow his company from start-up to a workforce of 225, culminated in the award of Entrepreneur of the Year, 1999, before he reversed it into a Plc in 2000, and was appointed CEO of the resulting business - The Exchange. Ges then oversaw The Exchange becoming the best performing stock on the LSE, achieving a valuation of £88m, before successfully selling the company to Marlborough Sterling in 2001. Ges served as a main board director for Marlborough Sterling until early 2004 and joined the Rule Financial board in January 2004.
