Rule Financial has attended two major international Securities Finance conferences during June, one in Europe, and one in the USA.
At the 19th ISLA (International Securities Lending Association) conference in Berlin, our Head of Securities Finance Alec Nelson, joined Iain Futcher, Jonathan Adams and Julia Iredale at the Adlon Kempinski hotel where the keynote speaker was Tony Blair's notorious former spin doctor and adviser Alastair Campbell.
Also in Berlin for the conference were 400 delegates from banks, broker dealers, asset managers pension funds, hedge funds and financial policymakers, making it the most important event of its kind in Europe.
The following week our specialists flew to Boston to join Rule Financial's New York team, including Matt Doran, Ale Malo and Ami Grewal, to participate in the second annual East Coast Beneficial Owners Securities Lending Summit. Rule Financial was a key sponsor of the summit, along with some of our most distinguished clients and the securities lending publication GSL.
"It is vital we use the international stage to spread the message that Rule Financial is now the largest Securities Finance consultancy in London and has the experience and expertise to make a real difference. We intend to consolidate our success on a global scale."
