Rule Financial has created a specialist applications outsourcing team, supporting a wide range of software, infrastructure and database technologies, both in-house and off-site, from our headquarters in the City of London.

Among the applications supported are trade capture, confirmations, settlement and reporting. Many senior managers are drawn from large outsourcing companies and have wide experience of outsourcing projects.

In 2005 Rule signed a two-and-a-half-year outsourcing contract with an inter-dealer broker which had just acquired one of their competitors. The contract involved the outsourcing of 20 highly-skilled specialists to Rule, and the support of the acquired legacy system during the transition to the new regime.

Elsewhere, Rule has redeveloped a hedge fund’s client-reporting web front end, and continues to provide long term application support. Another hedge fund hired Rule to build a new website, which Rule now supports on a long-term outsourced basis.

Yet another hedge fund hired Rule to implement third party package Calypso which we now support remotely.
