Systems Integration
To support today’s continuously-evolving business environment, banks require a dynamic, flexible and capable IT project delivery engine.
Rule Financial’s systems integration service combines the business consulting expertise of our project managers and analysts, with the skills of our technologists to build and integrate new systems for banks, on time and on budget.
Systems integration refers to both the implementation and integration of third-party software products, and also the technical development of interfaces between client systems.

In recent years we’ve implemented many of the leading trading and back office systems, including Beauchamp’s hedge fund trading and portfolio management system, Sungard’s Martini global trading platform for bond and equity financing, and other derivative trading systems such as Summit, Front, Sophis and Calypso. Our clients for this service include Dresdner Kleinwort Investment Bank, LloydsTSB, WestLB, Man Financial, and many hedge funds.
Rule’s detailed understanding of hedge fund processing and securities financing (repo and stock borrow / lend) provides significant competitive edge for many of these sales.
Rule also provides system integration services to build interfaces between clients’ own applications.
For example, projects we’ve undertaken include designing and developing interfaces between credit risk systems to support new Basel II requirements, designing and developing data feeds between swaps confirmations applications and external entities such as Swapswire and DTCC, and designing trade feeds from a commodities front office system into downstream applications.
